White House Denounces 'Democrat Fabrication' as Additional Jeffrey Epstein Photographs Released
House Democrats have released a additional set of what they labeled "disturbing" photographs from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The initial drop of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been previously circulated—plus another 70 issued later on Friday represent a tiny fraction of the almost 100,000 images released to the House investigative panel, which is probing the actions and ties of Epstein.
The shamed investor died by apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking charges.
Notable Figures in the Photos
Featured among the high-profile individuals seen in the first release are well-known figures including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin business group.
Donald Trump is featured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is photographed with six women, whose faces are redacted.
White House Response
The White House addressed the release in a statement, charging Democrats of selectively "hand-picking" the photographs for electoral motives and to "try and create a false narrative."
"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been time and again refuted," a presidential representative remarked, maintaining that "this presidency has done more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by consistently demanding transparency, releasing numerous documents of papers, and urging further investigations into Epstein's Democrat friends."
Democratic Lawmaker Comment
The photos were disclosed lacking captions, but according to a Democratic representative from California and senior member of the investigative panel, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's associations with the rich and powerful.
"It is time to end this White House obfuscation and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he declared in a release.
The release of these images comes as the House panel proceeding with its investigation into the affair.
