Your Perfect Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form According to the Zodiac Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense enthusiasm across the fandom. Starting with the gradual unveiling of newcomers ahead of the title's launch, to trainers developing firm opinions on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

Given numerous of the Super Forms showcasing distinctive appearances that emphasize their personalities, one idea came to mind: What's the best way to link this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Super Form and astrological sign that inspire the most fear. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as always furious, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, known for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. This makes Aries much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when angered. Remain on the good side of either and enjoy a powerful ally; if you cross them, be ready to get burned.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Much like a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross, whether in its regular and Super Form, has aided numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, each the Pokémon and a Bull are also Fighting types, and – whether it's their companion or a firm belief – will defend their side unwaveringly. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unabashed passion for snacks. Many past official descriptions note their craving for tasty tree sap and how it employs its horn to hoard it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Observe this total royalty. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the soul of any gathering, providing an constant stream of gossip to those who wants to listen. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly easy to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an whole open area with their stories. Medicham’s official description also mentions its ability to predict an enemy’s next moves, which sounds quite similar to a people-smart Gemini.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

The Crab is commonly regarded as the most emotional sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for frequently getting absorbed in their emotions. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution charges the creature with a “tremendous quantity of energy, but it's excessive for Manectric to completely control,” which seems a lot like a typical Crab crash-out. It is also known for its capability to make a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

Leo – Mega Starmie

Well, did you assume I was going to pick Pyroar for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be much too obvious, The Lion is obviously Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just went viral for being extremely fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your preference). Fans were captivated from the violet sea star, and that’s precisely the same vibe a Lion brings to the table. Starmie is also said to be transmitting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a show, albeit for aliens.

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The sign known for being charmingly judgmental is clearly reflected throughout this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a always surprised expression like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s similar to the symbol a Maiden posts to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a strategy.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive creature, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and trying to keep the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably appreciate Super Audino's skills. Though, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly sad origin: Abandoned as a toy, it gained consciousness through pure resentment and vowed revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the official info, Mega Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That seems exactly like many conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpion loves karma and retribution, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of times I’ve called myself some version of a “playful small entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even notes how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can imagine.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the ability to foresee calamities in advance? That exudes the identical vibe as a Goat, who tends to always think they’re correct. Interestingly, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that players meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to get in on the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Detached element Aquarius is possibly the non-fire sign that is most like a flame symbol – its sister sign is Leo, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being chaotic partners in crime. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire category fits seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s overall intimidating aura is also extremely Water Bearer. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “draws in hatred and transforms it into strength.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
